Core studies cover design strategy, drawing, garment construction, pattern making, printmaking, painting, photography, and sculpture. You can tailor your learning with elective courses to develop specialist skills aligned with your goals. Academic components include professional and contextual studies, creative practice history, ethics, and communication and business skills.
You’ll gain real-world experience from year one through industry guest lectures, competitions, and exhibitions. In year two, a 40-hour industry placement will connect you with current trends and marketing practices, and in your final year, you’ll complete a 120-hour placement and a major project showcasing your design, marketing, and entrepreneurial abilities.
