The Bachelor of Environmental Planning, accredited by the New Zealand Planning Institute (NZPI), acknowledges that environmental issues and their solutions encompass social, economic, and cultural aspects in addition to the natural and physical environment. This program offers practical industry experience through laboratories, workshops, and field excursions. Students will gain insights from guest lecturers and engage in hands-on activities, as well as participate in industry-related events such as resource management hearings, case law presentations, and simulated hearings. This degree is designed to be flexible and interdisciplinary, allowing students to tailor their study programs.
