The law serves as a fundamental force that maintains the functionality of society. Various elements such as culture, economy, familial connections, and international relations operate within a legal framework. A law degree prepares you to practice law in Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally in countries such as Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. If you have an interest in understanding how laws regulate society and the process of law-making—and if you enjoy articulating ideas and resolving issues—the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program is suitable for you.
