Specific requirements
The Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) is a 5-year degree divided into 2 phases:

-Pre-selection phase (a minimum of 1 semester). Entry into the pre-selection semester is open to anyone who meets the Massey University entry requirements.
-Professional phase (9 semesters – 4.5 years). Entry to the professional phase is by selection based on academic performance, non-academic performance, and relevant experience.

-Students may also be required to demonstrate proficiency in English. Undergraduate English Language requirements and acceptable evidence:

Academic IELTS 6.0 overall and minimum 5.5 in each band
TOEFL iBT Overall score 80, minimum 19 in Writing
Cambridge English Qualification B2 First, or B2 First for schools, or C1 Advanced, or
C2 Proficiency with a score of 169. No less than 162 in each skill.
NZ Certificate in English Language Level 4 (Academic)
Pearson Test of English (PTE) 50 overall and minimum 42 in each communicative skills
Language Certificate (Academic) 65 overall with a minimum 60 in each band
LanguageCert International ESOL C1 Expert IESOL (LRWS) with PASS and no less than Pass in each skill
Duolingo English Test 105 overall and minimum 95 in each band
