The Certificate in Health Sciences (CertHealSc) is designed to furnish you with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute positively to the health and wellbeing of your community through effective health promotion. The program investigates the ways in which living, working, and recreational environments affect health, and it aims to foster conditions that allow all New Zealanders to achieve long and healthy lives, irrespective of their income level or ethnic identity.

To enroll at the University of Canterbury, it is necessary to have University Entrance or an equivalent qualification.
