After completing a Diploma in Animation, students can pursue various roles in the animation and creative industries. The learnings from the course will allow graduates to apply their creative skills in various sectors of the entertainment and media industries, contributing to the production of animated content and visual storytelling.
Candidates are required to have achieved NCEA Level 3, including credits in a pertinent subject, and must provide a portfolio showcasing their current creative skills for evaluation.
Additionally, candidates will be expected to participate in an interview with an appropriate staff member.
Alternatively, Candidates must have successfully obtained the New Zealand Certificate in Digital Media and Design (Level 4) or an equivalent qualification.
International candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must demonstrate that they have acquired English language proficiency equivalent to an IELTS score of 5.5 within the last two years, with no individual band score falling below 5.0.
