During the year, you will take part in over 20 productions, which will cultivate your communication and teamwork skills necessary for effective collaboration on set. You will be mentored by experienced professionals from the industry, ensuring that you graduate with the confidence and competence to thrive in any production scenario. The course content is evaluated and updated each year to maintain its relevance and innovation. The college aims to provide you with not only an understanding of what awaits you post-graduation but also the hands-on experience required to navigate the film industry’s realities. Annually, the college invites numerous industry professionals to interact with students. A standout feature of the program is Short Cuts, where you will work alongside industry mentors in a professional environment. Upon successful completion, you will earn the New Zealand Diploma in Screen Production (Level 6).

Entry requirements

Applicants must have completed a Diploma in Screen Production, Level 5, OR;
Have a portfolio to demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge.

International applicants must be 18 years or older and have proof that they have gained within the last 2 years, English language skills equivalent to IELTS (Academic) score 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5.
