Course description

At Te Huataki Waiora School of Health, you’ll have the chance to learn from top researchers and lecturers with global recognition. Throughout your studies, you’ll engage in real-world research that can impact people’s lives, while also gaining practical skills for your future career.

You’ll have access to cutting-edge labs at the Cambridge Avantidrome or the University of Waikato Adams Centre for High Performance in Tauranga, and benefit from our strong partnerships with local organisations. These connections will allow you to collaborate with elite athletes and teams like the Waikato Chiefs, BoP Magic, and Cycling NZ, as well as community groups such as Parafed Waikato and Sport Waikato.

The MHSHP program is designed to be flexible, so you can customise it to suit your goals. Our experienced staff can support a wide range of projects, and you can choose to complete your degree in one year full-time or part-time while working.
