Candidates seeking admission to this degree program must meet one of the following criteria:
-a bachelor’s degree with a major in Linguistics, achieving a minimum Grade Point Average of B+ in 60 points of 300-level Linguistics courses;
-or any bachelor’s degree accompanied by a Graduate Diploma in Arts in Linguistics, with a minimum Grade Point Average of B+ in 60 points of 300-level Linguistics courses;
-or a bachelor’s degree with a major in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Philosophy, Computer Science, a language, or another major sanctioned by the Head of the Department of Linguistics, with at least a B+ Grade Point Average in 60 points of 300-level courses in the chosen major, and a minimum grade of B+ in LING400 English Structures (a distance-learning course offered during the summer);
-or other recognized qualifications of an equivalent level.
