Master of Nursing Practice – MNursPrac

The Master of Nursing Practice offers graduates from any Bachelor's degree the opportunity to become registered nurses in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Course description

Upon completing the Master of Nursing Practice (MNursPrac), you will be eligible to take the Nursing Council of New Zealand/Te Kaunihera Tāpuhi o Aotearoa State Final Examination to become a registered nurse in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Occupational Registration

Certain occupations require registration by law in New Zealand. This programme leads to registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand.

Entry requirements

Academic requirement
– A Bachelor’s degree with an average grade of at least B+ in the final year of study
– to meet the entry requirements of the Nursing Council of New Zealand/Te Kaunihera Tapuhi o Aotearoa
– to have been accepted by the Head of School as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

English Language requirement
-IELTS: Minimum IELTS overall score of 7.0, with no individual score of less than 7.0
