The Master of Te Reo Māori is a comprehensive program that prepares its graduates for a professional path in the Māori language. Entry requirements

Individuals interested in enrolling in the MTeReo program must meet one of the following criteria:

a bachelor’s degree with a major in Te Reo Māori, achieving a minimum B+ Grade Point Average in 60 points at the 300-level;

or a bachelor’s degree accompanied by a Graduate Diploma in Arts in Te Reo Māori,

or another equivalent qualification, with at least a B+ Grade Point Average in 60 points at the 300-level; or a bachelor’s degree, along with relevant professional experience and a high level of proficiency in te reo Māori;

or completion of the four courses required for the Postgraduate Diploma in Te Reo Māori with either Merit or Distinction.
