Entry requirements

Student must possess NCEA Level 2 or demonstrate comparable skills and knowledge. Have successfully completed the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Level 3) in the Health Assistance or Support Work strand, or possess an equivalent qualification or relevant experience in the health and wellbeing sectors.

Be at least 17 years of age. Obtain an acceptable New Zealand Police vetting prior to commencing practical experience.

For international students in addition to the above requirements, the following criteria must also be met: Be at least 18 years of age. Achieve an academic or general IELTS score of 5.5, with no individual band score lower than 5.0 overall, or possess an NZQA approved equivalent.
