The Mental Health and Addiction Support program will enable you to operate within a mental health and addiction environment, promoting autonomy through the application of various tools and strategies aimed at instilling hope, facilitating recovery, and enhancing resilience. You will gain knowledge in Mental Health & Addictions, Ethical practice and professionalism, Te Tiriti O Waitangi and bi-cultural practice, as well as Professional and reflective practice.
It is important to note that this qualification does not confer professional registration or a clinical scope of practice; however, it will equip you to work within organizations in the health and wellbeing sectors.
