New Zealand Diploma in Cookery (Advanced) (Cookery Strand)

This course is designed to enhance your advanced culinary skills alongside your administrative and kitchen management capabilities, covering aspects from operating a commercial kitchen to designing unique menus. You will have the opportunity to visit a food supplier in New Zealand to understand the origins of some of the ingredients you will be using, and you may also secure an internship that will provide you with invaluable practical experience. Graduates of the Cookery program at NZMA will have the chance to pursue a pathway with the International Management Institute (IMI) in Luzern, Switzerland, allowing them to obtain an internationally recognized qualification from an institution ranked 12th globally for hospitality training. Additionally, students will benefit from work experience opportunities through an extensive network of industry contacts, which includes prestigious establishments such as the Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, Fairmont, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Disney, among others.
