New Zealand Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

This program equips students with essential pedagogical skills in early childhood curriculum areas such as language, literacy, creative arts, mathematics, science, technology, family engagement, and foundational leadership.

Course description

The aim of this qualification is to prepare Aotearoa New Zealand with proficient early childhood educators who can work both professionally and collaboratively to provide practice-focused education and care for mokopuna—infants, toddlers, and young children—in a variety of early childhood settings, while also creating pathways for further academic development.
