You will acquire essential hands-on experience to prepare you for the workforce. With small class sizes, you will benefit from increased individual attention from your tutor, alongside 8 hours of flexible online study each week. Additionally, the program includes up to 7 weeks of practical work placement, which will help build your confidence and enhance your employment prospects. Graduates of this program will also receive 120 credits towards a Bachelor of Education through Te Rito Maioha.

Entry requirements
International students need to be 18 years of age or older
Demonstrate the ability to complete the academic requirements of the programme, for example, having achieved the New Zealand Certificate in Early Education and Care (Level 4), or NCEA (Level 3), or equivalent.
Have an acceptable New Zealand Police Vet before entry to the programme.
If English is not your first language, you will need to have achieved an IELTS Level 6.0 (Academic) with no sub-score less than 5.5, or equivalent.
