Course description

Acquire knowledge in fitness methodologies, health and nutrition, as well as anatomy and physiology, while cultivating the essential skills to inspire, train, and coach individuals. This Level 5 program represents the initial stage of diploma qualifications.

Upon completion of the year, you will receive a diploma, enabling you to advance to the Level 6 program or serving as a foundational qualification for employment within the industry.

Entry requirements

Applicants under 20 years of age:

48 credits NCEA level 2 across 4 subjects OR Equivalent

Applicants 20 years and over:

No academic qualifications needed. Evidence to support an applicant’s ability to successfully undertake the programme with a reasonable likelihood of success may be requested.

English language requirements:

An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall Academic score of at least 6 issued within the last two years
