The program is developed in collaboration with local District Health Boards and regional educational institutions.

This course qualifies for 3 points if applying for residency under the Skilled Migrant Category.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for the Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching, candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

-a degree from a university in Aotearoa New Zealand that is pertinent to clinical teaching and the intended course of study; an appropriate health or allied professional qualification that necessitates a minimum of three years of full-time tertiary education at a suitable level;

-or qualifications and experience that meet the criteria for membership in a recognized health professional association, or be registered to practice in a health-related setting.
