The Postgraduate Certificate in Geospatial Data Science programme serves as a bridge to a professional master’s degree or as a one-year professional qualification. The program equips students with fundamental knowledge in geospatial science and technology at the postgraduate level. The studies integrates pertinent disciplines, including Data Science, Computer Science, Geography, and Environmental Science, focusing on spatial analysis. Students will gain expertise in programming,  communication, research analysis, database management and geospatial technology.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for the PGCertGDS, candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with at least a B Grade Point Average in relevant 300-level courses related to geospatial analysis, or an equivalent qualification, or have three years of professional experience in a related industry.
