The PGDipEd program at UC facilitates the enhancement of professional practice and provides a critical exploration of significant educational issues.

Course description

The Postgraduate Diploma in Education is intended to offer avenues for the advancement of professional practice and to engage in critical examination of significant educational matters. The PGDipEd also includes the possibility of obtaining an endorsement in one of seven areas, which permits the completion of a postgraduate diploma that is specific to your area of interest. Entry requirements

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent degree, majoring in Education or a related discipline with at least a B grade average.

Alternatively, an Aotearoa university degree combined with a professional teaching qualification is also acceptable.
