Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting

This comprehensive course is tailored for accounting graduates aiming to finish the CA Program while still in university, enabling them to seamlessly transition into the workforce.

Course description

The Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (CA Program) enables accounting graduates to complete all eight modules required for the CA Program of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) prior to entering the workforce. This intensive 10-month program cultivates the advanced expertise necessary to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. Additionally, a significant advantage of this qualification is that graduates may qualify for a one-year credit towards the three years of Mentored Practical Experience (MPE) needed for full CA membership. The course is offered by the University of Waikato in collaboration with CA ANZ, making it an excellent choice for individuals who have completed our Bachelor of Business in Professional Accounting, our Master of Professional Accounting, or an equivalent qualification recognized by CA ANZ.

Students benefit from studying alongside peers in a nurturing educational environment at the University of Waikato’s Hamilton campus, guided by our knowledgeable accounting faculty.
