Utilize the versatility of our Bachelor of Arts program. Your options include a double major—focus on two subjects within your degree. Select from over 35 majors available in the Bachelor of Arts. a second major from a different degree—broaden your academic experience without the need for an additional degree. Choose from over 90 majors offered across the University. You may pursue multiple minors. a conjoint degree—this more rigorous study program allows you to complete two degrees in a shorter timeframe, typically within four years, by necessitating fewer courses.
Most of our degrees can be combined in a conjoint program. elective courses that are not part of your major—these may include courses from other degrees that enhance the breadth of your education. If unsure about which subject to select as your major, our BA program encourages you to explore up to three majors during your first year, enabling you to uncover your interests and build a comprehensive foundation of knowledge before determining your area of specialization.

Bachelor of Arts graduates work across nearly every sector of the workforce, with career paths shaped by their chosen major.
Academic requirement:
Achieve the International Baccalaureate Diploma, or three GCE Advanced Level passes at C grade, or equivalent.There could be specific secondary academic prerequisites that depend on the country where the initial education was completed.
Students may also be required to demonstrate proficiency in English. Undergraduate English requirements:
IELTS (Academic): minimum overall score of 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5; or,
TOEFL: minimum overall score of 80 (internet-based test); or,
PTE: minimum score of 50 (with a ‘Communicative score’ of not less than 42); or,
Victoria University of Wellington English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme: minimum final scores of 4,4,4,3; or,
Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 169 or higher, with each skill score no less than 162; or,
New Zealand Certificate in English Language (NZCEL): Level 4 (Academic); or,
NZAPA: English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment Level 2 (with no skill lower than Level 1)
