This degree enables students to tackle real-world problems for industry clients by exploring innovative technologies and developing solutions for e-commerce and business needs. Integrating both computer science and information systems, the program covers, Computer operations and the software that drives them, Designing and implementing computer systems, Programming languages, algorithms, data structures, networking, and system development, as well as strategic planning and operational management
Students in first year will establish a solid foundation in software development, operating systems, computer networks, and programming fundamentals. The second year advances into topics like databases, networking, web applications, and IT project management. The final yeat will synthesize skills with advanced networking, databases, web applications, and a comprehensive year-long project.
Each student is provided with a state-of-the-art computer for the entirety of their studies.
Upon successful completion of this program, students will possess the necessary skills to operate effectively at entry-level positions within the information technology sector. It is expected that graduates will be well-equipped to embark on professional careers in various domains of the information technology industry, including:
Management: Entry-level roles in management or team leadership focused on the analysis, design, and development of information systems that align with organizational requirements.
Database: Development and maintenance of database systems, along with the analysis of processes and data flows to create efficient database solutions within an organization’s information framework.
Technical: Providing support for information systems by selecting, configuring, and maintaining the hardware, operating systems, networks, and software components integral to an organization’s information system. Web Applications: Engaging in the analysis, design, and development of web interfaces and the corresponding back-end systems that facilitate their functionality.
Programming: Designing and maintaining a diverse range of software applications.
Overseas qualification equivalent to university entrance and/or applicants with evidence of relevant prior learning and work experience.
Non-native English speakers must provide proof of proficiency through one of the following:
IELTS Test – Academic score of 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5
Pearson Test of English – PTE (Academic) score of 50 with no band score lower than 42
