The Bachelor of Nursing program at UCOL offers students valuable learning experiences that prepare them to become proficient registered nurses capable of delivering comprehensive nursing care. At UCOL, a dedicated team of lecturers is available to assist students throughout their nursing education. They will provide support as students navigate the curriculum, which features up to 160 hours of clinical placements in the first year.
As students progress through the program, these clinical experiences will encompass primary health care, medical and surgical wards, and mental health environments throughout the lower North Island. With 24/7 rotating schedules, students will acquire hands-on experience and enhance their skills alongside registered nurses and UCOL faculty.
