This Master of Educational Management (MEdM) program, totalling 180 points, is tailored for individuals seeking to enter or advance in leadership and management careers within the education sector, enabling them to significantly impact organisational performance. The MEdM program enhances comprehension of transformative change, business strategy, financial analysis, and personnel management within educational institutions.

The program can be completed full-time over 18 months. Most education papers are available online, providing participants with the flexibility to study remotely.

Delivered jointly by the Division of Education and Waikato Management School, the MEdM program is instructed by experienced lecturers who are industry experts.

Entry requirements

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university, with at least a B-minus grade average in the 300 Level papers and some relevant work experience to be admitted to the Master of Educational Management. If you do not have a bachelor’s degree, you might still qualify for admission by showing significant relevant work experience and evidence of academic achievements.
