This diploma program is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for pursuing supervisory and team leadership positions, as well as entry-level management roles within a diverse range of sectors in the hospitality industry. These sectors include, but are not limited to, kitchens, restaurants, bars, cafés, accommodations, catering services, and hotels. Throughout the program, you will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of hospitality management.
You will gain a deep understanding of hospitality operational procedures, which are critical for ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. Additionally, you will learn about compliance standards that govern the industry, ensuring that you are well-versed in the regulations and best practices that maintain safety and quality in hospitality settings.
Graduates will possess the necessary skills and knowledge for:
– Entry-level or trainee positions in hospitality management
– Supervisory or team leadership roles in various hospitality sectors, including kitchens, restaurants, bars, cafés, accommodations, catering, and hotels Holders of the New Zealand Diploma in Hospitality Management (Level 5) will be ideally qualified for careers in hospitality sectors such as kitchens, restaurants, bars, cafés, accommodations, catering, and hotels.
18 years of age. Completed minimun four years’ secondary education
Non-native English speakers must provide proof of proficiency through one of the following:
IELTS Test –
Academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5.0
Pearson Test of English – PTE
(Academic) score of 42 with no band score lower than 36
