Master of Education
The Master of Education program aims to assist educators in exploring advanced concepts, conducting critical analysis, and developing research abilities within the wider field of educational studies.
Educational Leadership
Certain occupations require registration by law in New Zealand. This programme leads to registration with New Zealand Teaching Council.

This course qualifies for 5 points if applying for residency under the Skilled Migrant Category.
Graduates of the Master of Education program will acquire a diverse set of research skills that can be applied to various educational fields, such as adult and tertiary education, compulsory education, early childhood education, and non-formal education.
It is important to note that this degree does not qualify individuals for provisional teacher registration.
Additionally, the Master of Education can also act as a stepping stone for those interested in pursuing doctoral studies.
A suitable bachelor’s degree with a B grade average or above in level 7 courses (or equivalent).

In order to apply for admission to a specialization within the Master of Education program, candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of pertinent professional experience or obtain approval from the program leader.
