This course qualifies for 5 points if applying for residency under the Skilled Migrant Category.
The applicant must have successfully finished one of the following programs with a B grade average or higher, or its equivalent: Bachelor of Health Science, Graduate Diploma in Health Science. There are also options for staircasing from the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science or Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science.
Alternatively, students have the option to discuss a research or individual pathway with the Associate Dean Academic.
Additional requirements include providing proof of completing an acceptable undergraduate research course or its equivalent, evidence of current professional practice, the possibility of an interview, meeting the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA Act) and Children’s Act 2014 requirements, as well as other relevant legislation.
For the Psychology Specialisation in the Master of Health Science, applicants must demonstrate personal qualities suitable for the program and may need to participate in selection interviews. Additionally, applicants will need to provide references and undergo a police vetting process.
You must also meet University’s English Language requirements. AUT recognises IELTS (Academic) of 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher;or equivalent
