Master of Physiotherapy Practice is a postgraduate master’s program designed for students who have already completed their undergraduate studies. The curriculum includes practical, real-world challenges, clinical case studies, role-playing, and simulated scenarios that integrate e-learning and collaborative learning experiences. Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to participate in clinical placements, allowing them to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. A relevant bachelor’s degree with a B+ grade average (GPA 6) or higher in level 7 courses, or equivalent, is required.
Additionally, meeting the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA Act) requirements and Children’s Act 2014, including police clearance, is necessary.
Current immunizations as per the School of Clinical Sciences requirements schedule are mandatory.
The ability to travel to clinical placements is also a must.
Applicants will be ranked based on academic achievement and accomplishments in the relevant field, with preference given to those with the highest level of achievement.
A selection interview may be required, and admission is subject to the approval of the programme leader.
