Entry requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts or its equivalent with a B grade average or above in level 7 courses is typically required for admission. However, applicants with a unique blend of academic and professional background may also be considered in special cases.

Submission of a portfolio and participation in a selection interview may be necessary. Admission is contingent upon presenting a proposal detailing the scope of exploration and the project to be pursued by the applicant. Prior to submitting their proposal, it is common practice for prospective applicants to schedule a meeting to discuss their interests.

You must also meet University’s English Language requirements. AUT recognises IELTS (Academic) of 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher;or equivalent
