The course will provide educational opportunities that are intended to enrich students’ practice and cultivate significant knowledge in Treaty-based practice. Through interactive and experiential learning, students will have the opportunity to develop and advance their professional skills. The program will build upon students’ current qualifications, facilitating advanced professional development that promotes inter-professional collaboration. It is applicable to practitioners across a diverse array of practice settings, and the resulting collaboration among health and social services professionals will improve and fortify service delivery within the region. An interprofessional framework will empower graduates to enhance their abilities in critical thinking and professional/clinical reasoning, equipping them for specialized practice, leadership, management, and supervision in complex professional settings. Candidates may take a maximum of two years to complete the Postgraduate Certificate.

They will have attained advanced competencies essential for professional practice and career advancement, as well as for leadership and management positions within the health and social service sectors.
Students are required to have gained:
-An undergraduate degree assessed as relevant by the Team Manager, or
-A qualification approved as equivalent by the Team Manager.
English language requirements
Students whose first language is neither English are required to have score of 7 or better in all bands of the academic International English Language Test Score (IELTS), or equivalent.
