The course curriculum emphasizes practical assessments, work-integrated learning, and engagement with real clients, ensuring that industry experience is woven throughout each academic year. This degree equips students with essential tools to cultivate a vibrant professional network from the outset, enabling them to develop a digital portfolio and a robust personal brand that will enhance their appeal to prospective employers. Throughout their studies, students will strengthen their writing and communication skills, grounded in both creative media and digital marketing principles.
Students will also gain specialized knowledge in their selected endorsement through project involvement and elective courses, with the option to further refine their focus in the third year. In the third year, students will have the opportunity to specialize in one of two endorsement areas: Creative media Digital marketing.
Creative Media and Digital Marketing
Students, after completing this programme will be qualified to work in a range of communication, media, advertising, marketing, and creative production roles such as:
Communication advisor
Content creator
Media and brand strategist

Students are required to have:
-NCEA Level 3 comprised of 60 credits at NCEA Level 3 or above and 20 credits at NCEA Level 2 or above, including:
* 14 credits each at NCEA Level 3 in three approved subjects, including a Language Rich subject; and
* Literacy (10 credits at NCEA Level 2 or above made up of 5 credits each in reading and writing); and
* Numeracy (10 credits at NCEA Level 1 or above); or
* A relevant level 4 qualification; or
* Equivalent.
English language requirements:
Students who have English as a second language are required to have an International English Language Test System (IELTS) score of 6.0 with no individual band score lower than 5.5; or equivalent.
