By pursuing a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, you will acquire skills in precise observation, as well as in the collection, documentation, and interpretation of test results. Upon completing this degree and meeting the requirements set by the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand, you will be eligible to register and practice as a medical laboratory scientist. As specialized health professionals, medical laboratory scientists offer crucial information regarding a patient’s health status, which is essential for diagnosing diseases and monitoring their treatment.
