Upon completion of the Master of Nursing Science, graduates will have the opportunity to seek registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ), regardless of their previous bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. This program is well-suited for graduates seeking a transition into the nursing profession.
Certain occupations require registration by law in New Zealand and certain programmes lead to registration. For this programme, the registration pathway or body is: Nursing Council of New Zealand.
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree with a B grade average or above in level 7 courses is mandatory.
Additional criteria:
– Possible attendance at a selection interview –
Ability to fulfill the Children’s Act (CA 2018) regulations, including obtaining police clearance
– Approval from the programme leader is necessary for admission
– Availability to travel to clinical placements
– Up-to-date immunizations
– Proficiency in bystander CPR.
You must also meet University’s English Language requirements. AUT recognises IELTS (Academic) of 6.5 overall with all bands 6.0 or higher;or equivalent
