Wintec provides a diverse array of more than 130 degrees, diplomas, and certificates. The institution focuses on applied tertiary education for various professions, including nursing, social work, midwifery, graphic design, performing arts, engineering, trades, early childhood education, horticulture, arboriculture, and sports science. The programs offered span from Level 1 to Level 9.

Campuses

Wintec operates three primary campuses located in Hamilton, along with additional facilities situated in Thames and the Otorohanga Trade Training Centre.

The Hamilton City campus is conveniently located in Hamilton CBD, close to retail shops, food outlets, the lake, the Waikato River, and public transport hub.

The Hamilton Rotokauri campus, previously known as Avalon, is located in the northwestern part of Hamilton city. The campus boasts purpose-built facilities, a library, basketball court and a café. Programmes include sport science, trades, engineering, animal technology and hospitality.

The Horticulture Education Centre is located at Hamilton Gardens, for Arboriculture,
horticulture, and landscape design and construction.

Furthermore, the institute has three smaller campuses within the Waikato region.

Wintec provides student accommodation options at both the City and Rotokauri campuses.
